TEHILLIM 34

Of Dawiḏ, when he changed his behaviour before Aḇimeleḵ; who drove him away, and he departed. 1 א,𐤀 I baraḵ 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 at all times; His praise is continually in my mouth. 2 ב ,𐤁 My being shall boast in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; Let the humble hear and be glad. 3 ג ,𐤂 Oh, make 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 great with me, And let us exalt His Name together. 4 ד,𐤃 I sought 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5 ה ,𐤄  They looked to Him and were lightened, ו  ,𐤅  And their faces were not ashamed. 6 ז  ,𐤆  This poor one cried out and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 heard him, And saved him out of all his distresses. 7 ח  ,𐤇  The messenger of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 encamps all around those who revere Him, And rescues them. 8 ט ,𐤈  Oh, taste and see that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is good; Baruḵ is the man that takes refuge in Him! 9 י , 𐤉  Revere 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, you His qodeshim, For there is no lack to them who revere Him! 10 כ  , 𐤊  Young lions have lacked and been hungry; But those who seek 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 lack not any goodness. 11 ל , 𐤋  Come, you children, listen to me; Let me teach you the reverence of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. 12 מ  ,𐤌 Who is the man who desires life, Who loves many days, in order to see good? 13 נ , 𐤍 Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. 14 ס  ,𐤎 Turn away from evil and do good; Seek peace, and pursue it. 15 ע  ,𐤏 The eyes of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 are on the righteous, And His ears unto their cry. 16 פּ  ,𐤐 The face of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is against evil-doers, To cut off their remembrance from the earth. 17 צ  ,𐤑 Crying out, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 heard, And delivered them out of all their distresses. 18  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 ק  ,𐤒 is near to the broken-hearted, And saves those whose spirit is crushed. 19 ר , 𐤓  Many are the evils of the righteous, But 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 delivers him out of them all. 20 שׁ ,𐤔  He is guarding all his bones; Not one of them is broken. 21  Evil slays the wicked, ת ,𐤕 And those who hate the righteous are guilty. 22 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 redeems the lives of His servants, And none of those taking refuge in Him are guilty.
