1 Hearing this report, Ḥanoḵ comforted his son Methushelaḥ, saying, Fear not, my son, nor fret thyself about this matter for did not a qodesh messenger visit thy son Lemeḵ and tell him that this should be the seed of the future generations? And was it not so?
2 For this cause have these things happened; but on the eighth day when the child is circumcised, he shall be covered and shall appear as other men except that his hair shall remain white as a token that through him 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will do a mighty work.
3 This word did Methushelaḥ return to his son Lemeḵ and he was comforted.
