1 And I said to my father, Ya’aqoḇ, ‘Through you 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will bring the Kena’anites to nothing and will give their land to you and your descendants after you.
2 For from this day forward, Sheḵem shall be called City of the Senseless, because as one might scoff at a fool, so we scoffed at them,
3 because by defiling my sister they committed folly in Yisra’ĕl.
4 And we left there and came to Bĕyth Ĕl.
