1 So you see, my children, how great are the things that patience and prayer with fasting accomplish.
2 You also, if you pursue self-control and purity with patience and prayer with fasting in humility of heart, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will dwell among you, because he loves self-control.
3 And where the Most High dwells, even if envy befall someone, or slavery or slander, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 who dwells with him on account of his self-control not only will rescue him from these evils, but will exalt him and glorify him as He did for me.

6 I did not arouse myself with evil intent, but honored my brothers, and out of regard for them even when they sold me I was silent rather than tell the Yishma’ĕlites that I was the son of Ya’aqoḇ, a great and righteous man.
